EVI-GTI:
- Promotes the interests of its members , increasing visibility of sector needs and encouraging increased instrumentation R&D funding through EU programmes.
- Operates a Strategy Forum to align instrumentation development needs, maximising scarce resources.
- Organises conferences and workshops enabling information exchange and networking.
- Promotes sector-specific continuing professional development (CPD).
- Provides database facilities.
- Aids the mobility of skilled people within the sector.
