GAS TURBINE INSTRUMENTATION CONFERENCE

September 23-25, 2009

Norrköping, Sweden

Technical presentation papers are being solicited from across the US and EU that relate to all facets of gas turbine sensors, instrumentation, testing, and development. Sessions will focus on performance and flow path measurements, structures, rotating component testing, data transmission, and non intrusive measurement technologies. A 20 minutes presentation time has been scheduled, plus 5 minutes for questions.

While a written paper is not required to be presented at this event, abstracts must be submitted before August 1st, 2009.  Please send a one page abstract describing your technical topic relating to instrumentation and testing to the EVI-GTI Secretary General, J.-F. Brouckaert, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Abstracts will be reviewed by the EVI-GTI Board of Directors and a written notification of acceptance will be sent within 20 days after abstract submission. The final presentation should be submitted by September 15, 2009.

Please contact EVI-GTI or any member of the board of directors noted below for further information regarding this unique opportunity to meet with colleagues from across the United States and the European Union.

Since 2004, EVI-GTI has now been gathering the gas turbine instrumentation professionals through its yearly conferences, providing high level technical content and a forum to interact with colleagues.
After the 3 first conferences of Barcelona (2004), Dubrovnik (2005) and Rome (2006), the joint conferences of Newport, Rhode Island (2007) and Seville (2008) with the U.S. Propulsion Instrumentation Working Group (PIWG) have largely contributed to promote international collaboration among instrumentation engineers from across the US and EU. This year, PIWG and EVI-GTI will hold separate conferences as decided at the last meeting. For more information on the PIWG events, visit www.piwg.org/events. The next joint conference will be back in the U.S., organized by PIWG in 2010.

The Board of Directors wishes to gratefully acknowledge Ake Landin from Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery for his initiative and support to host the event in Sweden. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in Norrköping for this 4th EVI-GTI Conference.
